1. Summary

2. Nature of the Service (why RedSearch is not the records custodian for embedded videos)

Under 18 U.S.C. 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75, certain producers of visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct must create and maintain records of the performers ages and identities, and make those records available to the Attorney Generals designee as provided by law.

RedSearch is an information location / indexing service for embeds. In ordinary operation:

Accordingly, for sexually explicit visual content depicted in partner embeds indexed on RedSearch, age and identity record-keeping obligations remain with the primary producer and/or the originating platform (and any other party that qualifies as a producer under the statute and regulations), not with RedSearch as a non-hosting embed index.

3. Authorised partner feeds only (KYC allowlist)

Content may be listed on RedSearch only if it comes from hosts on our KYC partner allowlist. Those partners are adult platforms that require identity verification of uploaders / producers as a condition of publishing. Our submit flow rejects embeds from non-allowlisted hosts.

That partner-side KYC / 2257 posture is a core reason we can operate as an embed-only index: we do not open the door to anonymous, unverified video uploads onto our own storage.

For questions about a specific videos performer records, use the source / partner page linked from the RedSearch watch page (or that platforms published 2257 / records statement). Those operators maintain or point to the custodian of records for content they host or produce.

4. What users may submit

5. Age assurance and site access

RedSearch is strictly for adults (minimum age 18, or older where required by local law). Depending on region and our age-gate configuration, visitors may be required to complete age assurance (for example self-declared date of birth, on-device age estimation, facial age checks, or third-party age certificates) before browsing or attempting to log in.

Those access controls are designed to keep minors off the Service. They are separate from the 2257 producer record-keeping regime that applies to the parties who produce and host the sexually explicit videos available through partner embeds.

6. Custodian of records

For embedded partner videos: RedSearch does not maintain the 2257 performer age/identity records for those depictions. The custodian of records is the producer and/or the originating platform identified on the source site. Follow that sites 2257 statement or records request process. The watch page on RedSearch is intended to help you locate the partner origin.

For material originating solely on RedSearch (for example account profile text or non-nude attested stills uploaded by a verified user under our rules): to the extent any such material were ever alleged to fall within the scope of 2257 / Part 75, records and account verification materials associated with the uploading user are maintained by the operator of RedSearch in connection with that account and verification file store. In the ordinary design of the Service, gallery uploads are attested non-nude / profile-safe and are not a sexually explicit video production pipeline.

7. Reporting concerns

8. Exemption / scope note

Nothing on this page waives any obligation that actually applies to RedSearch under U.S. or other law. It describes our operating model: no video hosting, KYC-partner embeds only, no random public video uploads, verified users only for profile media, and region-based age assurance for access. If a regulator or authorised inspector needs information about a specific listing, identify the RedSearch watch URL and the partner source URL so the correct custodian can be located.

9. Changes

We may update this statement as our partners, verification rules, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when we do.
